It has been said "that missions is to the church as the fire is to the flame". We exist because of our love for missions. Pleasant Grove Baptist Church is a "missions minded" church. PGBC has participated in missions from its very beginnings. We have also started a daughter church in the area and God continues to bless there as well. Our church is very involved in local missions as well as foreign missions. Our newly developed Missions Committee will keep the church informed of fresh ideas for the years to come as we plan mission trips across the street and across the world. The "mission field" is also in our own yard. We have provided the "ROC" - Recreational Outreach Commitment ministry at our gym. We have men, women, youth and families who are provided Christian Recreational Fellowship several times each week. Many of these "precious souls" do not attend a church and many have never heard much about Jesus. We operate the "ROC" with Caring and Loving Volunteer Host who provide a devotion and prayer at each open play. Missions around the world and in our own back yard...finding where “God is at work and joining Him". Come and see...help us as we reach out to others in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord.
