PLEASANT GROVE SENIORS


The senior adults of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church are seniors in age only. Our desire for life, enthusiasm, free spirit, humor and service is envied by many who are much younger. The activity and state of mind is representative in the name of the senior adult group at PGBC.

‘THE HAPPY AGERS’

The Group is made up of men and women who have reached the golden age of 55 and beyond. We meet the 3rd Thursday of each month except for November and December. Activities for these months are rescheduled by the Senior Adult Ministry Council and published in the church calendar. All seniors are invited to join us. January 15, 2009: 12 Noon, lunch at the Cracker Barrel, Cleveland Crossing, NC 42 at I-40 Vans leave the church at 11:30am

February 19, 2009: 11:30am, lunch at O'Charley's US 401 South, Garner, NC Vans leave the church at 11:00am

March 19, 2009: We are planning a trip to Reynolds's House in Winston Salem. Watch this space for details.

Future Plans include a Tour Bus Trip to Charleston, SC. Depart PGBC Monday May 11th 2009 and return Wednesday 13th 2009. $50.00 Deposit is required to reserve a seat.  Balance due April 5, 2009.
